As part of National Apprenticeship Week (10–16 February 2025) and following the success of our Explore! Milton Park schools programme, we’re excited to host our first apprenticeships event at Bee House on Thursday 13 February.
This is your chance to hear from two fantastic speakers:
Bobby Ramsay, The SBSA
Bobby Ramsay, a multi award-winning, prominent leader in the skills and apprenticeships sector, brings extensive experience and insight into developing and championing high-quality apprenticeship programmes. Bobby works with the Strategic Board for Skills Advancement (SBSA), helping STEM businesses navigate the complexities of apprenticeships and establish tailored training solutions to drive growth, innovation and open up access to STEM Industries.
Find out more about Bobby’s work and the SBSA by visiting The SBSA website.
Leah Bryan, OxLEP
Leah Bryan, Apprenticeship Advisor at OxLEP, has helped unlock over £3.6 million in unused apprenticeship levy funds for Oxfordshire businesses. OxLEP Skills provides expert advice and support to help employers, including SMEs, access the apprenticeship levy to cover the full costs of training. Leah will explain how the levy can be used to upskill existing employees or recruit and train the workforce of the future.

The event also offers an opportunity to hear a brief presentation from Richard Kennell, CEO of SOFEA on the Powerhouse Pathway, a pre-apprenticeship programme which has already made it possible for some of our Milton Park companies to help young people find meaningful employment and address the labour shortages in the Didcot Area.
