The government is committed to continue expanding the capacity of the network of UK test sites and laboratories to make it even easier to get tested and reduce the time it takes to receive test results.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Local Resilience Forum said: “As part of the Department of Health & Social Care’s intention to widen access to Covid-19 testing through Mobile Testing Units, Thames Valley Local Resilience Forum has been working closely with each partner local authority to identify, select and develop additional MTU sites to increase the overall number of approved sites. I’m pleased to say that Milton Park has been approved by DHSC as a MTU site for your communities.”
Philip Campbell, MEPC commercial director, Milton Park said: “We are pleased to be able to continue to provide a place to accommodate the MTU and play a small part in the important work that is being done to provide local test sites to make it as easy as possible for people to get tested.”
Please note that only those with a pre-booked appointment will be seen.
Anyone testing positive for the virus in England will be contacted by NHS Test and Trace to help them trace their contacts.
This will help to identify who they may have been in close contact with, protecting others from further transmission.
