Amenities update – a relocation, a revamp and a retirement

We are working hard on the exciting plans for Signal Yard, a redevelopment which will transform and reinvigorate the Park Centre. The scheme will bring forward a new amenities hub, complete with convenience shops, food and drink outlets and a landscaped space for socialising. 

You may have noticed work already taking place in and around the Park Centre. Further news surrounding the Signal Yard redevelopment will be shared soon, but in the meantime, we have some important updates and a range of exciting amenities to enjoy over the summer… 

Apollo Pharmacy’s temporary relocation 

As mentioned in last month’s newsletter, as part of the enabling works for Signal Yard, Apollo Pharmacy will shortly relocate to 11 Park House, next to Milton Park Post Office. Abdi and his team will still offer the same top-quality pharmacy services in the new location; dispensing medicines, performing instant consultations and prescribing effective treatments for UTIs, ear infections, sore throats, sinusitis, shingles, impetigo and insect bites, helping our patients receive treatment quickly and alleviating pressures at local GP surgeries. The temporary move is due to take place this September. 

Nick retires from Londis 

In the coming months, Nick and Moon have decided to shut up the shop for the last time, with Nick taking a well-deserved retirement after many years of service at the helm of the independent family-run business.  

Nick and Moon have long been a pivotal part of the Milton Park community as the friendly faces behind the Londis Store. 

The whole Milton Park team thanks them for their years of hard work and wishes them all the best for the future.

• Or get your car serviced at M&M Commercials’ MOT centre.
