Signal Yard picking up speed
Published on 25 April 2025

Work is progressing at Signal Yard, the upcoming state-of-the-art community and amenity hub at Milton Park.
Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve seen the glulam timber trusses installed on site, bringing a bold new architectural feature to life.
Next month, work will begin on the glulam timber extension to Building 6, further shaping the look and feel of the space.
Sustainability continues to be a driving force in the design. The rain garden’s underground drainage system is now complete, forming part of the wider strategy to support climate resilience across the site. Planting will follow.
As the construction team look to start the block paving to the landscaped areas to the front of the buildings, some parts of the hoarding will be taken down temporarily.
Elsewhere, the first of the timber glazed shop fronts has arrived and in a clever reuse move, the original concrete window sills from Buildings 7–10 have been salvaged and reinstalled – a small but meaningful win for sustainability.

The burning question on everyone’s minds is who’s going in Signal Yard..?
We are delighted to reveal that 13 of the 17 units are now under offer. This includes four food operators, a dentist, a barber and a health & wellbeing provider.
We are looking to relocate Security to Signal Yard once the development is complete, in addition to Apollo Pharmacy and the Post Office, both currently at 11 Park House.
There will also be a pop-up space that will primarily serve food and beverage.
Four units are still available. If you know anyone who might be interested in taking amenity space at Signal Yard, please contact Tom Vecchione at Benedicts, who is managing retail enquiries: tom@benedicts.co.uk.
