Colourful hoardings going up around the Signal Yard construction site
If you’ve been working at Milton Park over the last couple of weeks, you will have noticed that site hoardings painted white have gone up around the Signal Yard redevelopment project. A total of 240 metres of panels now sit along Park Drive and Park Square marking the site boundaries.
Appealing to the senses
Thank you for your patience while we transform your amenities and apologies for any inconvenience caused during the project.
While enabling works have been ongoing on site, work has been going on behind the screens to design graphics to cover the hoardings which will display the Signal Yard branding and showcase computer generated images (CGIs) of the redevelopment.
As well as being able to see what the project will look like once completed, pedestrians will also be able to look through viewing windows and see the construction work.
By the bus stop on Park Drive, near the rainbow crossing, there will also be an interactive element where you can lift a series of panels and smell various scents! We won’t spoil the surprise and tell you what they’re going to be, but do go down in the New Year and have a look – or smell!
A huge thank you goes to Cyon Agency for designing the artwork, Hobs Reprographics for installing the panels and Curo Construction for cutting out the windows and building the boxes for the aroma stations.”
